In order for this to work it must be with trial and error. It does not work if you follow the pictures. Very little water is needed. Heat water first before putting egg in. Once in, watch it carefully. Time stated is not correct. I like a runny yolk, not hard.The double poacher looks good but now I have to figure out how to use it because the very bare bones box contained no instructions at all.Product makes decent poached eggs. The lid does not fit securely on the device. The product does NOT include any printed instructions. It is up to the buyer to figure out how it works, how much water to use, and how to time the cooking process. I would have welcomed some help.does what it says it does... however it is a bit of a scrub to clean it... perhaps I didn't put in enough water... but my eggs cooked through the slits ... yeah... nuisance to clean... but not horrible... will be using it again... may spray some nonstick spray in there this time... good for eggs on toast... no... obviously you don't put the toast in the poacher... come on... lol...I put water in it. I cooked the egg for 1 minute and the yoke was hard and white was running. Tried it a few times with Different times. Gave up.No instructions, however I did get some help from one viewer. I have a poacher, but this one looked fun,but without directions,we are on our own,most of us have little patience with a product with no directions. Not giving it a good rating at all.Difficult to dial in for a soft poached egg. A certain amount of egg gets stuck in slots in the cup.My husband loves poached eggs. This thing is a quick and easy way to make them. He loves it.
