I am a Japanese native living in the Midwest U.S and was having hard time to find an authentic Tamagoyaki pan made of iron with no Teflon coating which is toxic. I think this is it. It has some non-toxic polymer coating but basically this is authentic iron pan specifically for tamagoyaki.I already made tamagoyaki twice with this pan. I got fluffy tamagoyaki each time! It doesn’t stick at all. This is very small pan for a couple of people at a time so not for family size though, it makes a perfect tamagoyaki with just one egg.Unlike Teflon pan, this is made of iron so very durable and no worry to ruin it even if you scratch it. the instruction says if you put oil at each use it will nicely coat the iron surface with heat so no need to season. Regretfully the instruction is in Japanese only so you may want to ask the seller to send you English version if you don’t speak Japanese.
