Description

Dynarex Cotton Roll – Non-Sterile, Soft & Absorbent Cotton in an Easy to Tear & Use Roll, 1 lb., 12” x 56", White, 1 Roll A Roll of Cotton Will Be Useful in Any Setting Cotton balls and pads are a common commodity to have in most households. And for good reason — even at work or in the medical field, you’ll find plenty of use for a fresh supply of cotton. It’s reliable, durable, and generally safe to use for most purposes, even when it hasn’t been sterilized. Cotton is also easy to throw away, saving you the hassle of messy cleanups or a complicated disposal process. It can be packaged in all shapes and sizes, but a small amount may not be enough supply to meet your needs. The Cotton Roll from Dynarex will grant you easy access to this everyday, all-purpose product. Soft & Heavy-Duty Cotton should be easy to find in stores, but you may run into products cured with extra substances or synthetic fibers. For your peace of mind, our cotton rolls are made up of pure cotton fiber. Dense packing within each layer helps keep the roll easy to unwind and the cotton easy to handle without compromising its integrity. You’ll be able to tear off pieces easily without them falling apart in your hands! One Big Roll Cotton is commonly packaged already cut and shaped because easily consumable forms are needed in time-sensitive procedures. However, there may come a time when you might need a custom-sized piece of cotton to help pad a bandage or cover a wound. Buying cotton by the roll will help you stay freshly stocked for longer while affording you the leeway to make balls, pads, or compresses as needed. Clean & Convenient Cotton blows all other materials out of the water in terms of convenience and versatility. It’s soft, absorbent, and incredibly easy to shape, making it ideal for applications in the medical field. Dentists, doctors, and aestheticians can use cotton to spread creams and ointments, swab samples, pad bandages, or keep areas clean while they examine wounds. On the other hand, the gentle material can also be used to clean delicate tools without damaging them. More Reasons to Choose the Dynarex Cotton Rolls! Easy Disposal Dry cotton can usually be disposed of with the rest of your general waste. Otherwise, such as in laboratory settings, we advise throwing used cotton pieces into appropriate containers based on their use. For example, cotton swabs that have come into contact with fluids or medical substances should be thrown into containers for biomedical waste. Gentle On The Skin When dealing with applications on sensitive skin, it’s necessary to avoid materials with irritants or abrasives. A supply of soft cotton may prove extremely useful for infant care, as baby skin can easily react to itchy materials and unfamiliar substances. Pure cotton is also hypoallergenic, making it a solid medium for applying facial cleansers and skincare products like serums and toners. A Reliable Supplier Over the years, we at Dynarex have worked hard to achieve our position as a leading brand in the medical industry. We care for our clients like family and offer a broad range of disposable medical products that serve many important industries, including home and personal care. Goats literally wake up looking for a way to off themselves. Can't win. Had a 8 month old Boer goat come up with a broken metacarpal when I went out to the pasture. Last time I had a Boer yearling go down with a broken leg I did the pvc pipe splint on the metacarpal break. That was horrible because it eventually wore through the cotton gauze padding and caused open rub wounds which led to a leg infection. After some research on ideas I found this stuff. Took a lil over 1/3 the roll and wrapped the goats leg 3 times with the cotton directly, then went over it with one roll of 4" vet wrap. Been a lil over a week and the cast is hold strong and stiff. Goat is off pain meds and is getting along just fine and is in quarantine recovery now. Granted this probably isn't being sold for the purpose of casting broken goat legs, but it works awesome. It's soft, packs firmly around the leg injury, and doesn't cause any hard surface rubbing or open wounds to delicate flesh. I know the cotton roll says "non-sterile" so I just iodine cleansed the broken leg and shaved it down, before I casted it up. If you do have a open wound on a break and use this, I'd suggest to clean it with a iodine or chlorhexidine scrub. Dry the wound, then spray blue coat heavily over it, then apply the cotton casting material over the top, just to prevent any infection. If you do you're own personal vet work on the farm and you got goats or other crazy livestock, I'd highly recommened keeping some of this around to be prepared for any emergency for casting breaks, if that's something your comfortable with. I highly recommened to anyone who's casting a goat's broken metacarpal.
