I love the small one for whipping up an egg and the bigger one for whipping in a slurry or thickener into a pan to scrape up the browned bits & fond in sauce & gravy making. Nice tools.I love this whisk! Wish that I had had it years ago. I'm a bit of a whisk fanatic, and I use whisks all the time for everything. I whisk rather than use mixers, and have many different whisks, most of them Rosle. This is the first time that I have used a spiral whisk like this. It works fabulously, and I especially use it to whisk/stir sauces in pans. It whisks very thoroughly, stays low, and doesn't splatter, and effortlessly gets into the corners/sides of the pan, so it whisks far more thoroughly than other types of whisks.I was a little hesitant to purchase it, because Rosle is now made in China. My other Rosle utensils (most of my kitchen utensils are Rosle) were purchased about 25 years ago, when they were still made in Germany. Now they are made in China, so I wasn't sure how it would compare. I was thrilled with the quality of this particular item. My 25 year old Rosle utensils are as good as the day I bought them. I use them on a daily basis, but I do take very good care of them. This whisk is easy to clean, as long as you give it a quick rinse right after use, before things dry on it.If you make a lot of sauces, I would strongly recommend this whisk. This has a small enough diameter to whisk homemade salad dressing in a small jar. It gets into the edges of a saucepan and works for eggs and anything else that I need a whisk for.Lifetime tool. I use it almost daily.Works as it is advertised. This was heavier than our previous one but the silicone coating is more durable. We hand wash it so no telling if it takes on water in the dishwasher.I got this to replace an Amazon "Best" whatever whose brand will go unnamed... It is one piece it won't separate at the point where the whisk meets the handle. And with the silicone coating on the actual whisky, it's exactly what I need. It's worth it for me.I’ve used whisks made by KitchenAid and The Pampered Chef (and one I found at Anthropologie a few years ago), and this is my favorite by far. The Pampered Chef whisk has a skinnier balloon than I prefer, and my KitchenAid and Anthropologie whisks both snapped in half when I was using them after only a few short months. After doing some research online, I found a recommendation for this whisk. After seeing the price and thinking it over, I decided to treat myself and see if it lived up to the hype. It absolutely does. I’m dorky enough that I get excited every time I use it. The balloon is large, so it incorporates a lot of air, and the whole thing feels very sturdy. I’ve used my Rösle whisk for a little over a year now and I’ve made double and triple batches of cake batter using this before I got a stand mixer because that’s what I had to work with, and it was no problem. Also, as I mentioned before, the balloon is large and incorporates lots of air, so I was able to make homemade whipped cream in under 4 minutes, something that I wasn’t able to do with my smaller whisks.Because the whisk is quite large, if you’re working in a small, shallow bowl and you want to rest the whisk in the bowl, the whisk will fall out of the bowl. It’s not necessarily a deal breaker, but it’s something to be aware of.Overall, it’s very sturdy and easy to clean, and a fair price given the quality of the product. I would recommend this to anyone who is a serious baker and likes to make multiple batches of goodies at a time.Ich habe herausbekommen, daß man mit diesem Schneebesen nicht nur Schokopudding zubereiten kann, sondern auch Vanillepudding! Hätten Sie das für möglich gehalten?Had a very similar one before but the silicon started to break along the wires eventually and I've been looking for a replacement for ages. This is a little stiffer than my old one (flexibility is part of why it works so well) but this design is easily the best for making gravy in a roasting tin because it gets into all the corners at the same time as beating out any lumps. Brilliant!I actually bought this whisk in error (I was after a balloon whisk) and I’m so glad I did. It’s perfect for beating/whisking eggs in a small bowl for omelettes etc. I prefer it to a fork as it is quicker and more thorough and has no sharp points (like a fork) to scratch the glass bowl. The thick handle is very comfortable in the hand and the whisk fits easily in the cutlery tray of the dishwasher, where it cleans-up beautifully every time. Highly recommended.Fantastic whisk can use with ease in meat dishes to make heavy. Or in saucepan to mix not chocolate.Very light weight which is brilliant as I have fibromyalgia so can still make gravy and whisk thingsI saw Nigella using one of these and the next thing I know I went shopping with Jeff and now I've got one too. It does get into the edge of the pan nicely too.
