If you do this once, you'll do it again and again. But probably only if you like spending the time to create egg dishes. I love cooking and baking so I'm happy to get creative with eggsI spray a little cooking oil lightly into the cups and contents pretty much slip right out.I soak mine in hot soapy water, or you can put in the dishwasher. We are full time RVers, so I do dishes by hand.Mix up ingredients, but don't fill cups full with egg mixture. Leave space at top, so it doesn't overflow into the instant pot. Put your non egg ingredients in first, i recommend cheese in first, that way it will be on top of the egg bite when you set it on your plate. Cook one egg batch at a time. 10 minutes on steam setting, quick release, and give it a few minutes before you turn the egg mold upside down on a plate to release them.It’s nice to have a set of things that are so complete. I’ve used them all. My only complaint is that it is too big to put into the air fryer portion of my Insta pot. But it’s perfect for the Insta pot part.Do you really need another 5-star review to convince you that this egg bite mold is the best thing you will ever buy for your Instant Pot/Pressure Cooker? Okay, here it is.I was searching for a copycat recipe for Starbucks sous vide egg bites and had almost convinced myself that I needed a sous vide stick, when I can across a recipe using an IP/PC and an egg bite mold. Who knew that there were so many molds to choose from? I searched and reviewed and searched and reviewed and settled on the Hatrigo egg bite mold. I couldn't wait for the package to arrive! Well, I actually could--I deferred the arrival so it could be packaged with another purchase. When I saw the package, I immediately opened it. I had read that some people complained about the smell. It did have an odor when I opened it, but I put all the parts in hot, soapy water and that removed 90% of the smell. Honestly, the slight smell that was left didn't bother me. And I wanted to made egg bites! I put three drops of olive oil in each cup and very lightly coated the inside of each cup. After pouring in the egg mixture, I placed the mold on the included trivet. Let me just pause to say that the trivet that comes with the two egg molds may just be the best thing about the entire purchase! The owner's manual for my pressure cooker shows that it came with a metal trivet, but where it is, I have no idea. This trivet is the perfect size for my pc. Love the handles. Love how they attach at the top. Can't say enough about the trivet, which is like getting a bonus with the two molds! Speaking of the molds, I wish I had put the mold on the trivet and then filled it. Because it is silicone, it is a little floppy, but I found if I firmly grabbed both sides and pulled out just a little bit, it gave the mold a little bit of support as I moved it to the trivet. The silicone lid fit perfectly on top of the mold. After reading so many recipes that called for aluminum foil to cover the molds, I'm glad I made the choice of a mold with a silicone lid. I would hate to waste all that aluminum foil. The trivet provides enough support when placing the molds into the pressure cooker. The egg bites cooked perfectly following the recipe I chose.Now we come to the real test, eh? How well will these egg bites come out of the mold? Let me state for the record that I absolutely hate sticky food. I don't want to think about how many pans I have ruined in frustration from attacking stuck-on food with sharp implements. But these egg bites slid right out! I have several silicone backing pieces and honestly there are few I would trust without just a tiny bit of greasing. A few drops of olive oil is a fair price for quick release egg bites. I may try in the future to make some with no greasing. I don't think it would be a problem.I already want to buy a set of these for my daughter who does own the official Instant Pot. I also want to explore other things I can cook in these molds, like mini cheesecakes! This will be one kitchen accessory that I will get lots of use out of!These are great egg bite molds!!!! I researched online before buying these as I had seen where you want to get silicone molds and silicone, not plastic lids. I also debated on what trivet to get as other sellers offer if different trivet with theirs. These are real silicone molds and lids and I love, love the silicone sling!!!!! I am very happy with my purchase!!!! I am thinking of purchasing more molds as the cheesecake recipe I made last night made more than what my 2 molds can hold. The molds work wonderful and we love these cheesecake bites. I have also made egg bites and churro bites in these molds. I also love the color of them!! I definitely recommend these!!!!! Like I mentioned, I may even buy some more and would get the same ones! They aren't real expensive either.I will mention though about the lids. I had read where people were getting them and they were stuck together and wouldn't come apart. Mine were the same way but I had read where if you use hot water, they will come apart. I ran hot water over mine and I could tell it was helping. I let them soak for a short time and while running hot water over the lids, I slowly and very carefully pulled them apart. I did it real slow and pulled but not so hart that it would tear them. They came apart fine. I was a little concerned that if they touched each other that they would stick back together but they haven't. I'm not sure why they were stuck together but if you use hot water and take your time pulling them apart, you will be fine. It really wasn't a big deal but I am so glad I had read about that in advance before I received mine or I would have contacted the company. These are great molds!!!!!Works as reported. Egg bites came out very well, easy clean up, and easy to useFirst time using these and making egg bites in the instant pot. Worked perfectly. Didn’t even need to spray the molds with any cooking spray they popped right out. The tool that’s included to put it in and take it out is essential. Used the lid too and at some point in the cooking process it loosened but that’s because I filled a few too high with egg mixture. Used a recipe that called for 9 min on high and 10 min natural release btw.Definitely recommend this!These silicon egg bite molds are wonderful! I've used them almost every week since I got them. We made a double batch and took them when we went on a mini vacation so we didn't have to eat out or cook every morning. I think the directions advise to spray with cooking spray for easy removal,but I didn't have to do that. I would definitely recommend this product!Made mini quicheI requested a RETURN of this item (size was smaller than described). Amazon provided details & labeling for return to ‘Amazon’s Las Vegas Warehouse' but I was to pay for shipping and they would refund "up to $20.00" to me. I returned by Canada Post at a cost to me of $ 22.85 and Amazon only seen fit to refund me $3.99.Maybe Amazon should advise customers in their pruduct description from which location merchandise is being shipped so it can be known before purchases. I would not have ordered this if I knew it was not coming out of Canada's distribution center.I purchased them as an accessory for my Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 figuring I would only use the sling to remove things from the pot. However, I made several batches of egg bites using 7 eggs which fill both molds 1/2 to 3/4 (depending on additions) and it works like a dream. I'm sure other recipes for mini bites would work well too.I gave it a 5 star, because I used it to make my egg,veggie muffin dishes and it was a big hit, worked well in the oven, stacks well, and I like the easy cleanup .. colours are pretty too , I would recommend getting this for the baking lovers !Estoy muy triste porque se veian bien los moldes, pero hice unos huevos escalfados en la instant pot y no los pude comer porque sabian a puro plastico derretido y olia horrible toda mi cocina, a plastico quemado, personalmente dudo que sea silicona de buena calidad.These molds & lids are 100% silicone and food safe. The sling lifter doesn't get hot. Its a great addition to my Instant Pot Duo Plus 80 accessories. I love this product and so will you.
