I bought two of these little guys from a gift shop (the "sitting" and "sleeping" models), but the shop was out of stock on the "creeping" figurine, so I was thrilled to find it here! These figures do cost more here than they did at the gift shop, but, regardless, I think the quality of these figures is worth the cost. The figures are surprisingly detailed and all are painted with a bit of a glossy sheen to really emphasize the freshly-hatched, life-like feel. I don't know that these are meant to be specific dinosaurs -- the gift shop just marketed them as generic "dinosaur eggs" and there's some debate on the t-rex (sleeping) figure's anatomy. Regardless, they're ridiculously cute display pieces.I've noticed that the creeping figure I received is significantly lighter than the sitting and sleeping models I bought through the gift shop. Its egg shell feels more brittle and a light tap is enough to get it wobbling. I don't know if this difference is because of where I bought them or if, perhaps, the creeping version is potentially an earlier version or if, maybe, this was a design choice because the creeping version has an inherently lower center of gravity and is less likely to be knocked down regardless of its weight.Overall, this is an excellent figure and wonderfully detailed for the cost.
